The jarsi.ee online store (hereinafter ‘online store’) is owned by OÜ JÄRSI (registry code 10365501), located at Mureli 3, 10617 Tallinn, Estonia.

Validity of contract of sale, product and price information

  • The terms of sale apply to the purchase of goods from the online store.
  • The prices of the products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products. All product prices are final. Prices are stated in euros. Indicated prices do not include delivery fees.
  • The amount of the delivery fee depends on the buyer’s location and the method of delivery. The amount of the delivery fee is shown during order finalisation.
  • Information about the goods is displayed directly next to the goods in the online store.

Order finalisation

  • To order goods from the online store, add the desired products to your shopping cart. To finalise the order, fill in the required information fields and select a suitable delivery method. After this, you will be shown the total price in euros, which can be paid by bank transfer on the basis of the invoice.
  • The contract of sale shall enter into force from the receipt of the amount payable on the bank account of the online store.
  • If the ordered goods cannot be delivered due to being out of stock or for any other reason, the buyer shall be notified at the earliest opportunity and the received payment (including delivery costs) shall be returned to the buyer as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days from sending the notice.

    – After confirming the order, you will be shown the necessary details for making the bank transfer. You will also receive an invoice in PDF format by e-mail.

– If payment is not received on the bank account of the online store within seven days, the order will cancelled automatically.

SmartPOST parcel terminals are located across Estonia, installed inside shopping centres to protect your parcels from the elements. The price depends on the size of the parcel and will be displayed on the order finalisation page. Maximum parcel dimensions are 60 x 36 x 60 cm, weight up to 35 kg.

  • Omniva parcel terminal

Omniva parcel terminals are located across the Baltic States and are accessible 24/7. The price depends on the size of the parcel and will be displayed on the order finalisation page. Maximum parcel dimensions are 38 x 64 x 39 cm, weight up to 30 kg.

  • Delivery by courier to your home or office

Delivery by courier is the most flexible and convenient option in terms of parcel dimensions. The price depends on the size and weight of the parcel and will be displayed on the order finalisation page.

  • Delivery to post office of Eesti Post

Post offices are located across Estonia. The price depends on the size and weight of the parcel and will be displayed on the order finalisation page.

Delivery outside Estonia is currently only available by courier to your home or office.

Delivery costs shall be borne by the buyer, unless indicated otherwise. The relevant price information is displayed next to the method of delivery. Shipments within Estonia are generally delivered to the location specified by the buyer within 3–7 working days from the entry into force of the contract of sale. In exceptional cases, the goods may be delivered within up to 45 calendar days.

Right of withdrawal and return of goods

  • After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract of sale concluded with the online store within 14 days.
  • The right of return does not apply to products manufactured according to the conditions established by the consumer (clause 53 (4) 3) of the Law of Obligations). Such products include custom-made picture frames, mirrors, mounts and picture hanging rails.
  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to legal persons.
  • In order to be eligible to use the 14-day right of withdrawal, the ordered goods must not be used in any manner other than that which is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, similarly to what is allowed for testing the goods at a physical store.
  • If the goods have been used for purposes other than those necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, or if they have signs of use or wear, the online store has the right to reduce the amount refunded by the diminished value of the goods.
  • To return purchased goods, the buyer must submit an application for withdrawal from the purchase (form of application for return of goods) by e-mail to kontakt@jarsi.ee no later than within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
  • The cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the buyer, except if the reason for the return is that the returned goods do not correspond to the order (e.g., wrong or defective product).
  • The buyer must return the goods within 14 days after the submission of the application, or provide proof that they have transferred the goods to the carrier within this period.
  • Upon receipt of the returned goods, the online store shall return to the buyer immediately, but no later than 14 days from the receipt of the application for withdrawal, all the payments received from the buyer under the contract.
  • The online store has the right to refuse to refund the buyer until the goods which are the object of the contract have been returned or until the buyer has provided proof that they have sent the goods back, whichever is earliest.
  • If the buyer has expressly opted for a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the online store, the online store shall not be required to reimburse the buyer for the costs which exceed the costs relating to the standard delivery method.
  • The online store has the right to withdraw from the sales transaction and require the buyer to return the goods, if the price of the goods was marked significantly below the market value of the goods due to an error.

Right to file a complaint

  • The online store shall be liable to the buyer for any defects and non-conformities of the goods with the terms of the contract which existed at the time of delivery and became apparent within two years of the delivery of the goods to the buyer. Therein, it shall be presumed that any defect which becomes apparent within six months of the delivery of the goods to the buyer already existed at the time of delivery. The rebuttal of this presumption shall be the duty of the online store.
  • Upon discovery of a defect, the buyer has the right to contact the online store at the latest within two months by e-mail at kontakt@jarsi.ee or by phone at +372 662 1485.
  • The online store shall not be liable for defects that have arisen after the delivery of the goods to the buyer. If goods bought from the online store have defects for which the online store is liable, the online store shall repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the online store shall refund the buyer for all costs incurred under the contract of sale.
  • The online store shall reply to consumer complaints in writing or in a format which can be reproduced in writing within 15 days.

Direct marketing and the processing of personal data

  • The merchant is the chief processor of personal data and transmits personal data which are necessary for making payments to the authorised processor Maksekeskus AS.
  • The online store shall only use the personal data submitted by the buyer (including name, phone number, address, e-mail address, bank details) for processing the order and delivering the goods to the buyer.
  • In order to have the goods delivered to the buyer, the online store needs to transmit the personal data to the delivery service provider.
  • The online store shall only send newsletters and offers to the buyer’s e-mail address if the buyer has expressed their willingness by entering their e-mail address on the website and indicating that they wish to receive direct e-mail messages.
  • The buyer may unsubscribe from e-mail offers and newsletters at any time by notifying us by e-mail or following the instructions provided in such e-mails.

Settlement of disputes

  • Complaints concerning the online store may be submitted by e-mail to kontakt@jarsi.ee  or by phone at +372 662 1485.
  • If the buyer and the online store are unable to settle the dispute by agreement, the buyer may contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The relevant procedural requirements can be found and the application can be submitted at http://www.tarbijakaitseamet.ee/et/tarbijavaidluste-komisjon. The Consumer Disputes Committee has jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising from contracts concluded between a buyer and the online store. Buyer complaints are reviewed by the Committee free of charge.
